At Bright Start, our staff is dedicated to helping your child build the best foundation for their future. We focus on pre-academics as well as the social and physical growth of every child. We believe that children should be nurtured and supported in their early childhood educational experience so they may obtain confidence and pride outside the home. Using Developmentally Appropriate Practices we meet each child at their current level and help build their foundation from there. We practice positive modeling, encouraging reinforcement, and consistent classroom rules. Parents are an integral part of the learning process, and we will work as a team to meet the needs of your children. How Can My Child Sign Up?

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Children may attend Bright Start Preschool after their 3rd birthday, up to age 6. Every child must be toilet trained, however, certain conditions may be considered. No child will be denied admission because of gender, race, heritage, religious affiliation, or disabilities. A completed application and current immunization record must be submitted to Bright Start Preschool prior to enrollment. Children will be enrolled on a space available basis, but can be placed on our waiting list for future openings. SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS   Bright Start Preschool will accept special needs students if the facility and curriculum can meet the needs of the student.


SCHOOL HOURS AND CALENDAR  Bright Start Preschool classes will operate on the Lewis-Palmer School District #38 calendar. All other care will be available when District #38 is closed/delayed, excluding national holidays. See full calendar here. 


HOURS OF OPERATION 

Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm.
Morning Preschool Session: Monday - Thursday, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Full Day Preschool Session: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm

Before School Childcare: Monday - Friday, 6:30am to elementary school start

After School Childcare: Monday-Friday, elementary school closing - 6:00pm

Late fees will be assessed on any day that a child remains in our care after 6 PM close at the following rate: 

  • 6:00 - 6:10 - $1/minute

  • 6:11 - 6:59 - $20/minute

After 1 hour with no communication or pick up, Bright Start will contact local police. For more information, see our Policies and Procedures.
